I would say check the drain lines from the capping station. If they are clogged, the ink won't drain properly during a cleaning cycle. Have the carriage move to the left side, as in when doing a head cleaning. Dab cleaning fluid into the capping station. If it puddles and doesn't drain...

the information transfer is much slower via USB. Try and have Onyx cache as much of the job before printing. You could also try sending jobs individually in onyx, so it is smaller " information packets" to transfer

What brand media? Also, is there a production date? might be old media

Quite well actually! We have 10 or 12 different medias we use on a fairly consistent basis. The Epson S60's have a multitude of printing modes, so I'm slowly working my way through them. I have been profiling through Onyx, and am waiting for a slowdown to try and play with the i1 program

Just to make sure, is the banding in the direction the print head moves, or is it perpendicular? If perpendicular, check the pinch roller tension.

Are you referring as to when you have 54" media in the printer, and you open a 72" wide file in Onyx, and in Job Editor it shows as 63.6" wide? It varies on how the file is made/saved. I have chased this issue or years to no avail.
