    Sub your prints out to a company who does volume, schedule properly, save your money and when you think you have enough demand then get a printer. This is the best method for your budget.

    About a 1 1/2 yrs ago, the Roland rep/service man here told me that some guys in I think Auburn, Al modified a Roland 540 to print on substrates. I would like to see what they did.

    I would pass on it. Where's the break? under the building, parking lot? where? For a sign shop this is a lot of man hours and equipment finding route plans etc. Seen whole parking lots trenched before to re-run service to all the lights.

    Saw this old lady in her yard tending to her flowers naked and took her a sheet. Really happened called her daughter to let her know, she moved in until the her mother passed.

    Go GREEN use beer cans and sheetrock! Really they are easy but will take a little time to knock out a decent one but worth the while.

    Get it while you can, put up an awning tonight in the cold for a candy store "all natural" finger tips and ears hurting but the candy was good! sometimes a little rush job aint so bad but others run the blood pressure up. That's what we do. I'd rather bi5$#h a little and do the job...

    I have had luck with some water bases adhering to old enamel, the premium water bases have good adhesion properties and don't fade/oxidize as fast as oil based. I would use a good primer, paint the backgrounds with aWB gloss or flat and any trimmings with oil based and you should be fine...
