Yes using vinyl and laminate and ofcoarse good artwork to reproduce
stained glass. I've seen it sold in homedepot and it looks pretty good.
I found that the texture has a lot to do with it.
So I would think that a textured lam on top of
clear would probable be what I'm looking for.

Watch out for stretching
Make sure that when your laminating the vinyl that you're not
stretching it from to much tension and or from the heat assist
if your laminator has that Option. Another fool proof
way if the 1st two things I mentioned are not the factor.
Have a thin outline of some...
Try this
Try giving the roll some slack. It could be the tension cause if the weight of the roll.
Also check and make sure the pole one which the media is on is loaded properly and is
smoothly rotating. Good luck.
Creating a contour cut
Sometimes you just have to draw the contour cut. I use illustrator for this and import the path to flexi. Then convert to contour cut.
Removing frost
That video is helpful if you have 2hrs to wait. By that time you can be done job.
Using a good sharp blade with little pressure and cutting into strips is by far the best way. Use a heat gun to warm the vinyl up just to make pliable again if it keeps ripping.

Printing on laminate
I've printed on laminate and what I found is that the backer (liner) paper
is thinner making it difficult to laminate. It's more vulnerable to wrinkles
when laminating because the backer is so thin. Other than that it works fine.
if you can get a hold of a crisp black and white hard copy or in the darker shades, maybe school letterhead etc... you can scan it using the black and white setting at a high resolution of 1200 dpi save as a bitmap and then raster to vector it. Just a suggestion
Hello I was wondering if anyone has come accross offseting issues when using the print and cut software photo print dx by sai. I have the mutoh 1304 value jet paired up with the graphtec 7000 and I have numerous offseting issues when I try to print and cut.. any tips please would be fantastic.
