on my roland the default start point is set just after the pinch roller. you can either adjust this by setting the origin point with the arrow keys or by going into versa works and setting it there(if i remember rightly).

if you have the stock number/id number go to your vendor and ask them to drop ship it direct from the supplier(avery), thats what we do.

it was the sihl 3686 that norman at advantage is sending us a sample of today. is this the stuff your talking about or do you have a ref number for the stuff you mentioned?

thats basically what we did with advantgae, told them the job we are quoting on and asked what would be the best material to use. never used anything like this stuff before, so i have no idea what its like. he said its good stuff and is made for eco solve and solvent printers so should...

does anyone know of or can recommend any type of material we can use to print for baggage/container labels. they are non adhesive and need to be around the same thickness or slightly thinner than standard business card stock. thanks

have you cleaned the encoder strip? if thats dirty that will cause you all sorts of problems.

i wasn't doing digital prints or using avery when all that happened. i have used the mpi ez material several times now, and have just bought another roll and matching lam just last week. seems to be ok(so far)!

cover everything with the painters plastic sheet first, especially media and printers/computers etc. you can get the sheets from lowes/home depot for cheap.

have you tried the roland dga website? i know exactly what you are referring to. maybe a hardware store may have them.
