Yes, depending on the type of bug bomb. some have more oily residue than others.
suggestion is to drape sheeting over the media, be it plastic or cloth. if your still worried rub the exposed surface down with a lint free cloth and rubbing alcohol.
cover everything with the painters plastic sheet first, especially media and printers/computers etc. you can get the sheets from lowes/home depot for cheap.
Yeah OP had the best idea.I get bugs in my comp room when i leave the window wide open to feed the raccoons,so i just put in a bug zapper.It is Little loud when I'm sleeping.
