From what I understand, if they made a template with say a diamond plate pattern in it, then they could get that copyrighted. But it would only be for the diamond plate pattern. So if you changed it to say a brick pattern then technically you didnt break the copyright because fill in the blank...
how much ink have you put through the print head? Might just be bad luck that it went out the same time you changed the ink. It looks like a bad head to me. I would just go ahead and replace it and see if that works.
Some 3rd party products are ok but others are complete crap. Maybe you just got the crap ones. But OEM will always be better since thats what the machine was made to use. As they say, you get what you pay for.
Had this problem when I worked for a company doing popups. We ran 10 pass standard but for art with large areas of dark colors and blacks we would have to run 16 pass to get a full cure.
From what I've seen this printer can only skip blank space at the beginning of the pint but not in the middle of the file. If it's causing that big of a production issue, it might be better to split the file and print the top and bottom separately so it skips the space in the middle.

Your marks could also be too light. I had a Graphtec that would randomly not read a mark. I could just take a sharpie to the mark and it would then read it just fine.
Currently using key banner but on the 60" material the rollers impress on the material leaving a wavy pattern in the print.
Anyone have any suggestions for another brand they're currently using to print 60" wide on a HP360 Latex?
Thanks!
Thinking about getting a Kleencut Sabre Series 2 or a Kleencut Evolution E2
Anyone have experince using these or similar cutters? Thoughts and opinions are appreciated. Thanks!
ok replaced the encoder and its working now. I can diffinitly tell the difference of how much sharper the image looks now with the new parts. Thanks for the help!
One more question. So when performing the check encoder, the m number changes but the e number does not. Does this mean it could be the encoder is bad?
