If I remember correctly, the Summa D60's did not include a Parallel Port connection... Only Serial or Serial/USB with the D60u models. If my memory is correct, why do you need an option for the LPT port (Parallel/Printer)

Could be a number of things... if the unit is not under warranty, I would disconnect the pumplines from the captop for the Magneta head and connect a syringe. This will allow you to 'gently' pull ink through the head. Still possible problems such as clogged dampers, clogged captop, split or...

Try this if you have time... Enter the Roland Menu system and scroll to COMMAND MENU>COMMAND MODE> Make sure it is set to AUTO. If it is set to MODE1, change to MODE2 and send again... AUTO should handle it though.

Just updated our systems and so far, all is good. No crashes or problems to note. Co-worker messed around with it today and seemed to like it. One potential problem he found was that Roland added another control button option on the left panel that pushes the OK buttons at the bottom right...

How is the 1130 connected to the PC? Parallel, USB or Ethernet? Most Graphtecs have a length limit that you can up to 99999"... Usually defaulted to 80 inches or so if I remember correctly.

I think I recall one of the two following might help... 1 - in the device driver settings, make sure you have check port state checked. 2 - Check the bios of your computer and see if the LPT port is set to 'Standard', 'Bidirectional', AT', 'ECP', EEp' or whatever... Try Standard or AT and see...
