That is another means of doing the same thing... I would recommend bob's method seeing as you may have to clear Flexi's preferences every once in a while that would require you to change the cutter settings each and every time. Changing the BG settings on the cutter is more reliable.

What devices do you have listed in the Printers section of the Windows Control Panel ? May need to reinstall the software that came with your desktop printer...

I believe the demo version of the Wasatch software did this by default... Are you using a demo version of the Wasatch Softrip or the Roland ColoRip from Wasatch... Your software is not registered or activated as a full purchased version.

mwoodson is correct... Flexi is overriding your cutter settings. Once in the Default Job Properties, you will need to click on the plotter icon and select the Cutter Options button to uncheck all that apply. This is a driver error in your version of Flexi that forces the cutter to condition...

Are you referring to the white lines in the print ? If so, I have seen this in some EPS files when importing into Flexi. Especially if it was an EPS file that has a bunch of overlaps, layers and clipping paths from Illustrator.

The image has is a black/silber chrome image with a gray drop shadow from PhotoShop... Removing the drop shadow using the magic wand is really not possible due to the similarity of colors. Really need the original photoshop file or spend a lot of time manually tracing the image.

TIF, JPG all have background... Flexi will not support a transparent background of any kind. Must be masked with a vector to remove.

Send me the file and I will see what I can do with it... Chance are it simply needs to be masked properly.

Once your design is complete, go to File>Template>Apply Template and choose a template... then print as a PDF or save as JPG and email that... The templates can be edited as you see fit by adding your logo, copyright information, watermark, etc. Wrote an article on it a while back on the...
