how is the durability? everything we've currently tried on our 1500 just cant make it thru the sewing process without getting either scratched off or some considerable rubbing. its been frustrating to say the least.
GET A BIGGER DRILLLLLLLLLL!
sorry couldnt resist. id see if the cust has any idea of the makeup or see if you can get in contact with the company who put the monument together to get an idea of whats up.
ahh poop.i run caldera. in caldera, you can specify media compensation in the rip. in this situation, what i would do is print a 48x48 square. measure. at least in caldera, you enter expected length and measured length and it give you a percentage of compensation the rip will give every print...
yeahhhhh. lots of garbage between 4 r2r, 2 dyesub, 2 flatbeds, and our lam. just finally got a bigger dumpster when we moved to a building 4x the size of our previous. now i dont hurt myself in the trash!
gotta love the ol dumpster injuries. got a few of those. broken acrylic gave me a 6 inch gash in my thigh (after jumping in to grab something, my fault i know), had a bent piece of pvc spring back and bust my lip, and my favorite, broken crate 3 inch nail thru my foot ( once again, in the...
yeahh ive seen this when running 2 sided prints and generally on the backs of most medias. can try playing with the vac but with the r2r set up, that tension will always be there imo.
shot in the dark but network drop out? or is your rip comp going to sleep or something? dumb questions but ive had it happen. we left an entire roll to run, didnt think about disabling auto sleep on rip comp and we came into a quarter roll printed.
you'd have to have direct exposure for many repeated hours to get that *sunburn* effect. to me, it sounds like youre describing actual radiation sickness, which would take quite a large dose to get what youre talking about. way more than a printer can output.
no grit. its a polishing bonnet. almost like a soft microfiber or terry cloth. that and a industrial spray bottle of 99% alcohol that we get by the gallon at uline. theyre like 10 bucks for a pack of 2 buffer heads at home depot. the buffer itself was like $40 i think. i bought it a few years...
yeah dude it is a lifesaver. that way any corro, pvc, styrene, really any plastic not affected by 99% alcohol will be cleaned beautifully. can really use up all of the posssible material we can.
