Hey Visual, I feel the same way, I thought this is a workshop in a sign design. I believe what I have submitted is along the lines of actually producing the design for a pretend client.....if I'm on the right page with your thinking!

Second attempt My second design attempt..I feel I need to be less rigid with my layouts. I probably need to chill with a couple of shrooms. Perhaps filled with LSD 25. That should do it! Comments are always welcome, depending on where their coming from. I only accept those who will tell me...

SM, I totally agree!.. takes the pressure off and allows more creativity. I love the idea. Ya know, I read a lot of posts on this site almost every night, and I see who the major contributors are. It's so valuable for any level. But this is as close to hands on you can get, if you know what I mean?

Black & White design SM, I designed this in B&W....taking the advise of the pros. I'm working on updating my font library. I just used what I have right now. Can I make more than one design for this contest, or just one?

WOW! can't miss that ad! I believe it's going to create a lot of work for the body shop. Definitely a head turner. The bear is killer...and the pick up sits over the rear tire of that bus perfectly. Which model Mutoh are u using and do you like it? What do you think of Mutoh printers? Nice job Kirk!

I like the first layout as well with these exceptions.. imo. VESTAL'S seems to small and is fighting with auto service for visual priority. I don't feel there is enough contrast between the red copy and blue panel. I like the overall layout though without the phone.

GG, check it out! I love your wallpaper on the right. How or where can I grab that image for high res use? is it a stock photo image? looks really nice and different!
