UPDATE Well since the time I posted this and now, I have successfully created a user forum on my site using Snitz Forums 2000 (as previously referenced). Of course, it is still totally brand new and not ready for public consumption, but it is working and online. So far, pretty darn easy...

I also wanted to point out that my current site is an ASP site due to requirements of the security feature of the software. I have found a forum software called Snitz Forums that may work, I don't know yet.

NO, I have no plans to create Signs099 or anything of that nature, but I am considering creating a forum for my pricing software. I have absolutely no idea how to go about it. Do you pay for a server service, buy one and stick at in your shop, what? What about the forum software? Any pointers?

Well at least you have some related experience. That is a great printer from the specs, but you will also be wanting a large plotter for contour-cutting some images, unless you can on your existing plotter (does it have an optical eye sensor)? If you want a 2/1 machine, look at the VP-540.

What is your experience with sign-making...any? If none, why the hell not...everyone else seems to think it's a cake-walk. After you've figured out it ISN"T that easy, I'll come buy your equipment for $.50 on the dollar. Oh, and welcome :thumb:

Kinda short on words, dontcha think? Might help if you offered a bit more for us to go on. Sounds like you need to know how to use Illustrator better. I don't know as I don't use it enough to help with it...Corel is what I use, along with Wasatch. Still, basic premise is same for all of them.

HUH? We do this everyday. PDFs work just fine. The beauty of a PDF is it can contain both raster & vector images, as well as CMYK & RGB images.

I got a Trojan a while back and I'm here to tell you that Malwarebytes is very likely to fix it. It absolutely 100% worked for me and I continue to use it. After seeing how great it worked, I immediately bought it and enabled the real-time protection. Have you tried it yet, sounds like NO...

I didn't know it until I read one of the last SignCrafts....Chuck lives in the same town as I do.

I personally don't sew our banners, but have looked into it some. For one I think you need a machine that does what is called a "lockstich" and has a "walking foot". Harbor Freight has one for about $600 that looks pretty decent for a low-end machine.
