First I would try to pull some ink through the wast lines by removing the waste bottle and take a syringe and pull some ink from each line,, it wont take much just until you have some ink in the syringe,, make sure to reinstall waste bottle. Also run head clean a cpl of times...

I have to agree! I just bought one from Beacon Graphics,,, at least I know I will receive it. I still have two other Cj-500 main boards, which hopefully I can get repaired or try to repair them myself, I pretty well know what parts need to be replaced and I am handy with the soldering gun.

I also converted my Cj-500 about a year ago or so.. I installed the controllers right into the front panel of the unit. For the heater I used adhesive backed silicone rubber heaters with the K type thermocouple, I have the heat set for the rear at 110f. and 98f. for the front.
