Just wondering if the Oracal 651G ok for outdoor printing,, or is it mostly used as a cut vinyl.. I am trying for find a good white gloss outdoor vinyl suitable for vehicle decal printing.. or is there any recommendation of which vinyl would be more suitable??..
Contour cutting is not quite over the image after cutting,, it is slightly over to the right,, by not much, just enough to give wider margin to the right and none at the left side of the image. I recently installed a new main board at which time I reset all the parameters and installed the...
Was wondering which vinyl would take eco-solvent ink the best,,, I am leaning toward Oracal Calendered vinyl, mostly to do vehicle graphics and large decals, the matte vinyl would be used for indoor purposes..
I am not sure which capping station your printer uses, but in my Cj-500 uses Dx2 print heads and the capping screen held by tinny little tabs which the screen slides under thus keeps the screen in place,, You may need to replace the capping sponge, or replace the capping station..
first of all why would anyone attache pockets on a piece of outdoor material like banners... wind and rain will not be a friend to items placed in the pockets..
I don't get it! if everything is ok, how come it's not working not? Tell us what's going on,, does your printer come online at all,, getting any error messages, does the carriage scale the distance and so forth..
It looks to me you may need to clean out the ink lines going to the waste jar. disconnect the line from the capping station and try to push some cleaning fluid through the lines with a syringe... and let the machine do a cpl. of head cleaning.
It does have two data strips, one going to each head on the head board..will work on it this weekend,, will also do a sensor check in the service manual.. This is a backup head board I want to get the kinks out. I noticed there are two resistors blown also on the head board sitting right in...
Cj-500 gives me the error message "Lost Pinch Roller" after pushing the setup key. I checked all three pinch roller positions and they are right on the money.. one way left, one in the middle and the other over to the right.. Naturally it wont let me to do anything after that comes up..I...
I would try a few things,,, such as removing the ink lines from the capping station and try to push some cleaning solvent through it,, if you fill a lot of resistant pushing the liquid it means your lines are clogged. Also sometimes the small clear tubing on your capping station could be clogged...
Yes, and make sure you shut the power off before you mess with the heads,,, even pull out the main power cord as well. I screwed up a few heads by not doing so..
One thing about these older printers is,,, easy to work on, ink heads now in the 300-400 dollar range, it's only two of them in the printer not like some of the newer brothers where some of the print heads are running $700 and up. Drawback is parts are getting harder and harder to find for these...
It seems you took a picture of your Main Board.. the head board located on the top of the carriage where the head cables connected to the board...but I doubt that are fuses located there for the print heads. You may possibly shorted out the driver or some resisters on the main board...some time...
