Printer/cutter not completing the cut around the image, leaves a tiny amount of the material,, can this be adjusted somehow??

Guess I just may have to farm out to someone to put direct image on it.. I could do a wrap but I don't want a vinyl job on it...I could sublimate it but can't figure out how to take it apart to take out the plastic inside liner... The idea is good just don't know how to get there....

Try lowering the cutting blade until just above the vinyl a tit bit.. make sure it's not going to scratch the vinyl while printing,,, also you can adjust the down force of the blade at the printer.. Not sure but for this you may have to get into the Service Mode..

You have ink starvation,, check to see if the dampers have ink in them, at least half full, also check to see if your capping station is draining properly. In most cases the waste lines are clogged and it's not pulling ink through the heads,, disconnect the waste tube from the capping station...

If your printer receiving the date from your printer than it's not a cable issue... I do all my printing and cutting with my SC-500,, I have no idea why you want to use a different cutter to do the cutting...it could be your cutter that has the problem...

I would change the black ink damper, check ink level,, it looks like the head is not laying down enough ink, also head could be going bad..

Check see if the drain tubes clogged and see if the dampers have enough ink should be half full or so, did you do a pump check, test print?

After changing dampers you must pull some ink into the dampers by a syringe, remove waste bottle and start pulling some ink very slow until you see some ink in the syringe,, do this to all the waste lines. After that put the heads through a cpl. of cleaning cycles,, the dampers should be about...

Check to see if the capping station has lots of ink left in it after head cleaning, if so... your waste lines clogged...
