actually...I just figured it out....I got double whammy'd!!! the first thing is my network laser printer!! every time I print with it...even though the software isnt even installed on my RIP!!! it totally knocks my mimaki offline and i have to pull the usb and let me PC find the hardware...

I'm sorry to dig this thread up again...(although its not too old) I run an all XP Shop and was having alot of problems with a much older RIP PC, so I canned it today and moved an almost brand new XP PC over in its spot, re installed mimaki, flexi and everything else...completed a cutting job...

I'm really interested why you guys/girls arnt just using a standard removable vinyl with matte overlaminate?? Why all the rage with this phototex??? .80 per sqft is a joke... and it makes the profit margin too close.

6 4x8 panels?? did you lay the vinyl in your shop or on site?

I was cleaning my head yesterday...but didnt put the cover back on fast enough and now I have a cover open screen and cant get the printer to do anything else.. unplugged and plug back in...turn on and off... nothing....jiggled the cover nothing,,,,, any help??

we are out of washing fluid but I have a ton of "pre fill up solution" from when our printer was shipped... can i use that too??
