I actually finished the end of the media but I think it was either the end of the roll being contaminated or it was just super hot inmy office...
it was late friday night and i didnt think about turning on the AC
I am getting these little circles with white dots in the middle all over my prints. last time i had a tech out here he told me that the nozzles were clogged and to do a few hard cleanings.
yeah, well thats not fixing it.
should i wipe the head?
any thoughts?

I have the 33 and i did have some problems with it in the beginning but advantage worked it out. Just be careful butting those 440mils in. if you push too hard and break a tab then the colors wont switch over properly.
other then that..go for the mimaki. especially if its also cheaper..its...

I re grounded the plotter to the main ground in my building...
cuts like a champ now...however, I cant wait to get a new roland or graphtec..

i grounded my master, and i cant seem to bring it back from the dead...the tech support guy from master (who cannot pronounce "r") told me that the motherboard is shot..
any suggestions BESIDES getting a roland????
Vroon, are you referring to cutting inkjetted prints with your cutter? if so, I'm on the same page as you and am looking for a solution. Please PM me if you figure this out,.
I keep getting the Y-Coordinates Error 250 at least once a day and it really sucks.. all the manual tells you to do is turn the printer off/on. great solution right?
Also, my printer light blicks when i'm out of ink - IT NEVER STOPS - just keeps on printing and puts out straight...

I have a JV33 and have always used the SS21 inks in also a small room (10x16) and it does get stinky if we are doing over 200sqft but we just hang out on the other side of the shop and its fine..but the dry time is AMAZING..i mean, for stuff that we do in our own shop we let dry for an hour...
