  1. 12 Or 14ft Overhead Door?

I just put 14' doors in at my new shop after living with a 12' door for 15 years. 14' is hands down the way to go.
  2. Is It Hard On A Laminator To Sit Unused?

Hey guys, I found a Seal 62 ProS that I'm interested in purchasing. I spoke with the man who owns it and he said he hasn't ran it in 4-5 years. It runs on 220 so he has no way of showing me that it runs either. I don't imagine anything going wrong, but I have no experience with a laminator...
  3. Splice In A Roll Of Oracal 751...

A free roll or a $500 would be cool, but not really what I'm looking for. How is vinyl made anyway, the way this appears to be a thin spot, its like it didn't bond right there or something.
  4. Splice In A Roll Of Oracal 751...

I've never run across anything like this in all my years of vinyl cutting, but I'm about 10 Yards in on a 24x50 roll of cardinal red that has a cut in it. What exactly am I looking at here? It looks like the vinyl got thin, and in the deepest part, its an actual cut. The cut is about 6" in...
  5. Great New Product I Discovered Yesterday

That is definitely neat stuff, however I still prefer to use Quikrete dry. I can tamp it and continue mounting my signs without waiting for the post to harden. It will harden up on its own from the ground moisture in a couple of days even in the driest time of year.
  6. Need Help With A Font....

Also close to Digital Sans. You can thank Fred if that's correct
  7. Boat Wrap Suggestions

I have designed the curve in the past by laying a flat strip of sheet metal along the rub rail and seeing how much drop it creates and where it starts. It is difficult to get it perfect, so in the past I have had one person "steering" the vinyl, one person moving heat around, and then me...
  8. What Causes This?

Maybe where your vinyl was touching the bars? Does it happen more than once in any print, or just occasionally in the first few feet?
  9. Opinion Not A Real Problem, Just Wondering........................

I understand your irritation with this customer, but they called or emailed to cancel instead of not showing up, so if it were me, I would move on to the next thing. No charge, hopefully we charged enough for the truck not to worry about it. As for the April 14th part... My first instinct is...
  10. An Easy One

That's it and yes it is. Thank you for continuing to help us mere font mortals.
  11. An Easy One

I really hate asking for font help again in less than a week, but apparently I don't have this one installed on my computer. Thanks in advance
  12. I Know I've Seen This One...

Hey guys and girls, I don't seem to have this one, anyone know what it is? Thanks
  13. Graphtec Ce6000-120 Feed Noise

I tried a search with no avail. I have a gently used cutter that so far has been very trouble-free, but today started giving me an issue. Today while running some long cuts, I noticed the feed roller became very noisy. I saw where some guys had an issue with the other axis making servo noise...
  14. Painted Alum Blank Vendor Suggestions

I'd call grimco and ask them what's up. Your rep will be able to see what you paid vs. the price you're looking at online.
  15. Roland Cartrides Not Empty

Well, I didn't know how it would react to putting it back in, since I have never done such, I have had to put a syringe on the lines on my old printer from another problem, and don't wish to go down the road if I can avoid it. Thanks for the input.
  16. Roland Cartrides Not Empty

Hey guys, after seeing posts for years about carts not being completely empty when the printer tells you to replace, I have never ran into that before today. There is no telling how many emptys I have thrown away that when I shook them, I decided they were bone dry. I have actually cut into...
  17. Need Help I Need A Plan B For My Failed Installation Of Foam Letters

I would also agree wrong silicone, but with the weight of those letters, I would feel better if it had a stud or two going through the wall for the sheer weight.
  18. Question Corporate Vinyl Color For State Farm Insurance

I lettered some windows for State Farm last year and they provided print ready files, then asked me to email back a proof. So I literally sent back what they sent me, they approved, and the rest is history.
  19. Headstrikes With Xr640

Thank you guys for the suggestions. Pete, it doesn't sound stupid at all, but I should have mentioned I've been printing with a different Roland for years so I know all to well about how a hair or fuzzy can ruin a print. oksigns, I have already been through most of what you suggested or knew...
