Stay away from the plastic ones. Sunlight makes them brittle and then your customers come back wanting more. Go metal and be done.

Do you have white ink? My new XR uses an insane amount of ink for cleaning. I honestly believe it has wasted more ink in the 5 months that I have had it on than my old SP has in 5 years.

This makes perfect sense, but my old Roland runs it long to let it dry, then pulls it back in, where my new Roland pushes it out and leaves it there.

This should be the way it is. It helps to get one side out, then slide the other. If they're old though, they may be brittle and break.

Its been so long since I've ordered a pre-made banner, the company I used to use appears to be no longer in business. I'm looking to purchase a custom blank red banner. It's 47' long, so it will need to be custom made.

Generally, sliding in faces will go faster than that, but your number isn't too far off in my opinion. If your quote was quite a bit higher than the next guy, look for the signs to have flat faces when they go back up. :banghead:
