no these were ones made for digital printing, we just have a hybrid and not a true flatbed and i was less comfortable throwing them thru that.
haha yes. i am aware.
we did for a spell, but after hearing horror stories from vendors like "operator just threw a board in there not paying attention to the warp and ruined $15000 in printheads", we stopped doing that. most flatbed printers can do it, some better than others in terms of ink adhesion. but i'd say...
yeah, agreed with gino and all about latex vs eco in this case. you'll also be able to demonstrate with the prints immediately in the classroom making it a bit easier to fit more in class. i think latex will be much less of a headache in your setting, both physically and mentally. and as said...
what companies are you looking into? depending on your volume, i would look into buying direct from a manufacturer. if you are buying thru a dealer, your getting 2 markups on a material that probably costs 20 to 30 cents a square foot bought direct. but like i said, its gonna depend on your...
yessir. we had a lx sit for about 3 months while we prepped a new building. running like new again. latex is best for classrooms as well, and with the range of things you can achieve with it is pretty great for the price.
you talking r2r or flatbed? but yes. i have the sweatiest hands. nitrile are great, but no breathability. be prepared for a river of sweat going down your wrists every time you raise your hands above your head, which with 4x8 sheets, tends to happen. cloth are great for post press handling as...
also, if you are loading flatbed media, you'll want nitrile to keep sweat and oils out. cloth will just sweat thru so instead of fingerprints you end up with super fun octopus smudges all over it. trust me. nitriles good for doing the printing, cloth is great for all after that
yeahhh solids are tough. especially pinks and light blues. you running dual cmyk?? thats where i have trouble. can be alleviated by jumping to uni for the most part.
i did mine thru self adhesive vinyl and profiled from there. all i can say is hi pass count, medium to low temp. honestly its been so long since I've used that profile and I'm out of the office today. if i can remember ill pop on later today
hell yeah he does. if you've ever seen frisky dingo he did taquiles voice on that and he's currently in RTJ, probably the best us hip hop act around atm
DUDEEEE. you need to get on the aussie hip hop train. its like if when in 2002 when producers started over producing hip hop artists and shortening verses, these cats didn't get that memo. same in the uk. sure theres a few shitty new school guys but the vast majority are in that same old school...
