Hi every body, My HP Designjet 9000s displays "Service needed, call service" on the display panel, it's six month old and 4800 square meters printed. At the same time the RIP displays "consumable parts warning" Any Ideas.

I think there will be lots of problems printing on vinyl and other heat sensitive material, the vinyl may curl under heat and also may detach from the liner and cause head crashes. Me too would like to hear from folks who already tried this ink.

Why do you want to convert to water based inks? Several reasons: 1- Hassle free operation 2- Easier maintenance 3- Cheaper and wider range of media 4- I don't need outdoor durability 5- Longer head life

Dear all Mutoh experts, for some reasons I'm thinking of changing my Spitfire 65 from mild solvent to water based ink. Theoretically it's possible as it uses Epson DX4 print heads which is used in many water based printers. I appreciate your thoughts and advice.

Purged & cleaned old 791 ink, replaced with 790. Still having the same effect, even techs failed to adjust it.

Thanks Bill, but it's not a matter of cleaning, I use the cleaning plate every week end, and I'm sure it's very well cleaned.

I have a problem with spraying on 9000s (white area around black color is stained). The machine is new(six month old max) the spraying is mostly on the K Regular maintenance is made every day normally.
