thanks guys.....i new there were people out there using these things....and i would like to be the same!!..lol i'll try again later on and do as suggested here. seems that you all are doing it the same way so thats gotta be the way to do it. the daige website has some vids on there and i was...
heres something i forgot to mention.... when i load the lam onto the machine, i put the end of it onto the hard roller/takeup reel(tube) and tape it up along there making sure its all straight....and everytime i tape it onto the roller, when i'm attempting to laminate, the darn backing paper...
thanks fred, i appreciate the info. will go through and have alook at what we need as we need a few bits and bobs. the cartoon animals though didn;t have alot of what we needed. we need things like lions, tigers, elephants etc.
ok, i'll try it again later on today. i spent another 2 hours last night trying to get the thing to work! so basically....lower the roller and feed some print/lam through...then lower the ends so they are just about touching and then get a 1/4 turn and see if it works, if not, what? start again...

thanks bigfish, i know you do alot of stuff we use, and as you say with the shipping etc its sometimes not viable, however, it doesn't hurt to get quotes sometimes and i appreciate the info, excellent as usuall.
hence the question bigfish!! didn't sound right to me so i figurered i post up on here to see what you all recommend! so what exactly should i be looking at for materials and bigfish what do you have for this type of app?
from what my rep was saying was....use a standard material, laminate it with the specific floor lam, make sure the area is preped and once applied leave for 4 hours(no foor traffic) and then thats it......... is this right? i can see what your saying about a non permanent removable vinyl pat...
just been talking to our local rep regarding some sample material to show some customers as they are wanting floor graphics. he said you can use standard material(calendered or cast) just standard stuff and then use a heavy special laminate made for the floor graphic as it will be thick/tuff and...
