hi from NC.... do you have many requests for digi prints? asking because if your getting afew here and there maybe sub them out for now. if your getting asked all the time and you know you can sell them all day long then yes, invest in a printer. you'll see on this forum alot of discussion on...
oh ok...i'll try that. yeah, its really wierd...pulled it through from the back and lined it up and then it started coming away from the backing paper in random places so the heads would have hit it!....ok, so...turn off the heat completley....
thanks guys.
i just loaded a new roll of perf i'm trying out and its getting really bad creases in it when its in the machine. its actually lifting off the backing paper and its creasing all over where the head will pass. any ideas as to what i can do to stop this from happening?? if i try and print as is...
i would say something. i'm really anal about that kinda thing, that would just annoy the hell out of me to be honest! even if the client didn't mind i would.....but thats just me!
thanks guys for the info, thought it maybe worth while buying in blanks instead of cutting them as we get asked every now and again, not all the time just every now and again. thanks ces020, i'll check them out, appreciate that.
anyone know of a supplier who does name tag blanks? need diff sizes/colors etc. have looked online, asked suppliers but can't find any wholesalers.
thanks
ces020....how am i slamming him?? just pointing out that the guys on here are trying to give him a valid point and hes taking it the wrong way......thats all!

Thanks to all who have responded without being a smarta**!
nobody is being a smarta** there giving you a valid point! for a decent printer your looking at, at least 10-15k + rip/software/materials etc and then your going to need a laminator. if you only need it for a small amount of...
ORBUS365.COM try them. they as far as i know don;t have that exact one, but they do have a bamboo banner stand. its a retractable one though. i had the rep out at our place a couplemonths ago and he was showing us. they do wholesale to the sign industry.
it was like that from the start...i have tried diff humidity/temp levels etc. its going to be on an outside application, but we use the same material fot both the resins. the harder resin cures no problems.
has anyone used this>> DC-7156R CL its the "soft" base resin from epoxies, etc. we are currently using the "harder" resin. we have a sample pot of the "soft" resin but we always get "sticky/tacky" edges! we need to use the softer more flexable resin for some clients but just can't cure it the...
yeah, was great that i got the exact profile i needed and got the job printed and ready for the customer in the morning... oh and thanks trik...that probably would have got the job done by the sounds of it to! thanks
thanks guys. i have usually used a light spray before but tried on a window at the office today to lay it down dry and noticed alot of streaking where the squeege had gone....i'll go back to wet app then!!
thanks again guys, appreciate it
whats the best method when appling static cling on to the inside of a window so when you view it from outside you don't see any streaks from the squeege?
thanks!!
