does anyone know which profile to use in versaworks to use on our vp540i ?? its white static if that makes any difference. thanks!

we also stand everything on end with the plastic holders that they get shipped with in the box. never had any humps or problems soing this and we've done it for 9-10 years that way.

we do a fair bit for people who want to "sample" a decal/bumper sticker idea. we run them through our edge fx and we've been doing this for several years. granted when they want x amount of many hundreds or thousands then get it out to a screen printer, but for low volume or samples our edge fx...

just had a package disappear from them on the way here! needed it to today! oh well....

well i'm not going to get intot the whole thing about should you lease a printer or not etc...thats upto you, just make sure you've done your home work etc. we use north star leasing, good customer service and we had no issues at all.

we use them alot. got our roland from them. they can be a bit of a bugger to get hold of though! we've been trying to get them on the phone today but as yet have not had any luck! the price increase was expected....i think there hurting alittle in this economy at the mo!

oriented differently. the top right hand corner showing in versa works will now be the bottom left hand corner printing...... it prints normal, not mirrored or anything, just its not corresponding with the picture you see in vw.

don't use the blade to ever cut banner, you will knacker the blade and if its set enought so it will cut through more than likely knacker the stripe underneath. you can use the sheet cut blade, no problems though, we do this daily.

colin, we got our vp540i in summer and it comes with some samples that you can print off. some of the samples are really very nice and we have used these ourselves over the past months to show off what the vp can do.

thanks guys, it had crossed my mind that it maybe the wrong media but as hes my local rep and he knows what machine we have i kinda figured he wouldn't have made that mistake...however it would make sense! i tried some diff profiles even some standard vinyl ones but got the exact same results...
