hey wes....yeah! ,lol....if you read my post i don't say i'm making that! i wish! just i know several people personally in our area and thats what they are making currently and continue to do so. hay, they are doing something right.....theres business out there still, even in this economy.

yeah i'd thought of that in the beginning but wasn't to keen on the idea as corro does have a habit of bending and they throw these things around in the air all day.
we've been asked to quote on one of those boards you see people twirling at the side of roads to grab your attention, you know the ones they throw up into the air and twirl them around... they want an arrow approx 5ft long.
now having never done anything like that before what kind of substrate...
as a rule we do 13oz for "normal" short term banners and 16oz for longer periods. as mosh says, make sure you inform the customer that banners as really not ideal for long term. i know in our town you can only have banners up a certain time before they need to be removed.
make sure your using the correct media clamps for the banner material, you need to use the longer ones and also up the head hight to. if your material is in crocked that will cause it to buckle after a while and you will get a slight hump/bump on one side, that will cause a head strike. make...
we just lost a bid on a 14ft box truck today, we came in at just under 1800 bucks and another sign shop quoted them 1100 bucks. customer asked if we could beat that price and i said no chance!! you want the right materials and the job done correct, thats our price.
we've used graphityp many times for stuff in europe. but as fitch says, there HAS to be suppliers in sweden! you can go to the graphityp website and i'm sure they'll ship to sweden but it would be much cheaper finding a supplier from your nearest town/city.
we have used orbus acouple time lately but not for banner stands. we had the regional rep out to us on tuesday, really nice guy and was very inpressed with there banner stands and prices. great company so far to deal with and they seem to have some really good products, so like insignia says...

thanks for the info boomer, appreciate it. i've looked online at what digitizing involves etc and as you say looks to be a learning curve with it. do you know what sort of price a good used one of these would or should be going for? the person hasn;t told us a price as yet so want to know a ball...
