  1. Wall Vinyl

I have been asked by my boss to do some research into what people are using for Solvent Printed Wall Vinyl. We have used a number of wall vinyls as tests, including "Wall Noodle", Mojave, and an HP Premium thats supposed to be for wall graphics. These vinyls all advertised on easy...

  4. questions about head alignment mimaki jv3

Just wanted to let you all know - We had our tech come out and explain how to do the #adjust and this seemed to work really well. If you are having alignment issues, this is worth the 2.5hrs that it took me to fiddle with this. I couldn't believe how far out of wack some of the other heads were...

I wanna say it was less heat - we generally run the printer at a pre heat of 35c and a print heat of 30c for our adhesive vinyls. Even less for our Banners. I think the factory settings were set to 45 pre and 40 print.
  8. Head Alignment on JV3-160 SP

My cyan printer head is not printing properly. On the bi directional setting, it prints both directions, to the left and to the right. On the left pass it prints the cyan and on the right pass it prints the cyan about 1/32" +/- more to the right. Its noticable on some prints and obviously with...
  9. JV3SP-160 Vertical banding issues

We had an issue with this as well - mostly with blues as a matter of fact - and we tweeked/persoanlized our heat settings away from the "factory settings" of the profiles we have and it helped alot. Theres still some horizontal banding on our blues in particular but we no longer see the vertical...
  10. questions about head alignment mimaki jv3

I'm seeing a slight halo of cyan on my most recent prints. It looks like the cyan head has come out of alignment - is there a way to adjust this with out fiddling with screws. We have not replaced this head any time recently and we have not had any major carriage crashes that would seem to knock...
