It would be like seeing us vinyl/sign guys walking around with 3M, Oracal, or Avery hats and shirts...Even "tastefully" done...its still pretty tacky. And don't get me wrong I have no issues with hunting or even "good 'ol boys" but come on...

Its like taking a sheet of paper and fitting it around a ball. It's not gonna happen in one peice. I suggest doing it with individual graphics. Map out the helmet into sections and create your own template from those mapped/measured out areas. then set up your design to work with the sections...

Thats the Big Bertha torch. You can get that from Fellers. Its awesome when used to remove vinyl. I wouldn't want to you use it on unapplied vinyl. There's really no way to control the amount of heat like you can a hand held torch.

On YouTube = public domain. As long as he's not making direct money off of it or claiming he wrote the video - its public domain and therefore open to any user.

If you plan on doing a printed change, use an adhesive that has a block out adhesive so that you can't see the image being covered up. Otherwise cover with black vinyl cut new white letters and apply over black vinyl patch.

Did you print solvent or direct to board with the POS Pro? How did you laminate with an 8" core? What machines have spools that house such a large core?

Our experience has been soo negative with wall vinyl that this is pretty much our last time with this type of product. If we don't fine something that we like and we feel comfortable that it works, we will probably scrap this area of business. I'll probably order a sample of this phototex as...

What do you use as far as printers go with the GMI brand? Do you cut the white border as they suggest in the brochures? And are you using these as indoor or outdoor applications?

This will be applied with a cold lam. No hot lam for us :( We have a JV3 160 SP and what are process will probably be is printing on a calendered vinyl, laminateing with a thick stiff laminate and apply the whole thing to a thin but rigid substrate.

I believe these will be printed and applied to the substrate laminated and the customer plans on putting velcro on the back to attach them to a capreted wall of sort. They will be too rigid, in my opinion, to roll or anything like that.

They do exactly as you say it. I have done a little bit of this, cut then laminate. Its not the most ideal and it does leave you exposed for failures. However, I have printed images with two sets of cut reg marks, then cut out the first printed vinyl with a weed border inside the second...

We are looking for a 10 mil laminate to be used for trade show productions. This will be applied to a styrene or polypropolene substrate for colapsable display system. Does anyone know of a good laminate in that thick of a range and who makes it? Thanks for the help...
