OK, I get it... see the Grim Reaper is attacking 'Mericuns with syringes. And the good 'ol U.S. of A is fighting back with it's AR-15s against those syringes. Skulls also equal death, so that means we are dead too fighting against the other side who also happens to be dead, but is really high...
Here's the huge selling point to this machine though... it's only $8500
Some people could buy that with a tax rebate, if all they were looking to do was get their feet wet in the industry with solvent inks + print and cut solution. But I agree, figure out the true cost in running this machine...
I always thought the idea was cool. A desktop label maker for prototype packaging design... but for the life of me I could never figure out why they didn't make it 24" wide?
FatCat, you may have seen my posts from a few years back describing all my issues with the 1204, and subsequent fixes? That ink line blockage you mentioned brought back flashes of those long nights with syringes and stained fingers.
I would agree on JetBest for 3rd party. I was having issues...
Yeah they are... but they have yet to offer cast film, and a window perf. They would then be my preferred vendor if they brought in those items as well. But think about it this way... they are still marking it up and making a profit. A Co-Op wouldn't have to mark up as much as they do, if at all.

Free Market Economy. Most unions are relics of the industrial revolution's fat cat's and robber barren's slave/master style management. Which in this day and age they are really no longer relevant to most trades. They collectively drive prices up so that companies have no choice but to file...
You mean a legitimate billboard? They are made out of welded steel pipe frame that's bolted to a cement slab that's about 44 cubic yards of cement buried in the ground, and sometimes have their own gnerator and fuel tank on site? Or do you mean one of those cheesy, low to the ground mom & pop...
The images are printed on a film, like vinyl. Then floated onto a surface, sprayed for separation. You dip the part and allow to dry. And yeah, you'd need to clear coat it afterwards with just a sprayer and some clear.
There are a couple of different brands that offer "low energy substrate" aggressive adhesive. I just went with the most expensive I could find for the sake of illustrating that the cost of the vinyl shouldn't really matter. It's the end use and customer satisfaction that should be the ultimate...
