Steve, is your cutter set to #2 registration mark detection? The control panel on your Graphtec has settings for the registration marks. I have not had any contour problems with the 3 point once getting all the setting set.

What problems are you having with contours? We OPS ontour all the time.

You dont have to let the cutter pull the vinyl off the rollers. You can set up the cutter and then roll off what you are going to need then cut. Its not a fix, but it will get you by till you can get your rollers fix/replaced. If you dont have a catch basket, make one or make sure the floor...

To print on Corplast, and aluminum signs your going to need a UV printer. The Colorspan is $75k but only prints up to 1/2" thick.

My cuter tacks a good 40 feet, IF you set up the vinyl right. For short cuts, 1'-10', i just stick the vinyl in the cutter, eye ball it and go. For long jobs, I pull the vinyl through the cutter about 2 feet, and then unroll about 2 feet off the roll behind the cutter, match the two sides...
