  2. Are we green yet?

Wild West, I do agree with what you stated to some degree, but I do question who is doing the teaching? as we know most of the college level professors and the like are very left leaning to say the least, there fore it is hard not to believe that what they teach also leans to the left, and with...
  3. Did the Cost of Living go down overnight?

between west coast here and bob. pretty-much sums it up. 6. Sub shop layout

Joe, I do not think I have ever made a comment as far as critiquing of designs go, and not to sound like a suck-up, but I feel humbled to see some of the art displayed here at signs 101, with that said, I believe you have hit the goal you were trying to accomplish, the only thing I noticed was...

  10. Turn $20 into $5000 - is it possible?

rex, maybe I am wrong but he stated that "we" were slamming a true sign artist, now just mabe it is a leap but freehandan in my opinion was the one who was getting ripped on for the things he said. if you do not agree with me I understand, that he as in Turbo did not mention by name freehandan...
  11. Turn $20 into $5000 - is it possible?

turbo, I think using the term "a true sign artist" and freebasin'dan in the same sentience or paragraph is a mistake at best, I for one have a vinyl cutter and a printer, a computer brushes and paints etc...just because I use more than one media as do others to make signs doesn't make us hacks...

  14. Some of my old work back in the day before the evil computer

SignManiac, some really nice work....I was more into truck lettering in my paint sniffin' days... I am saddened that freebasindan has been banned. and I missed out on it... but I knew it was inevitable, I thought I might share some pics of some of the old stuff I did, the best buy and...
  15. New Problem, Double Cuts

also the 60 degree blade is usually used for thicker material, like sand blast, chrome, etc.. on thinner material like 651 I would use a 45 or 35 degree blade depending on what cutter you have. //chopper

  17. Turn $20 into $5000 - is it possible?

Craig, now I understand where you are coming from with the "sign school" as far as competing with people with out "skill" or schooling that is just the way it is it has always been here, even when I was hand lettering, it seemed that all the customer wanted was the lowest price, I knew a few...
