This wrapping of vehicles has gotten out of hand.
Ironically a friend of mine in the biz was wrapping an older mercedes last week using a matte 3M orange on a black car.
At first I thought how horrible it would look, but when he was done it actually was very nice with the matte look...
This is just plain weird.... The designer who works with me sent me a tif file that he designed and everytime I try to import it into Signlab the program immediately shuts. In fact the moment I click on the tif file before hitting import it shuts...what gives?
I just recently switched over to the oracal laminate and absoulutely love it as i can laminate and go straight to cut with little or no silvering.... GF and proveer house brand absoulutley suck unless you have a week or two to allow for settling of the adhesive.
I had a rep in here last week...
I basically have the exact same set up as you except mine is the 54"... I have no issues running xp (6 years so far) with photprint 5... Maybe photoprint no like win 7?
I love the note 2...incredible.....
I wonder though with all the advancements in Cell phones and the type of electro magnetic fileds they give off.... and we put these things to our heads or walk around with them in our pockets.
I have a case for my iphone that blocks a high %age of the...
I can't say for sure, but up here how can a cop hide when the car is a Crown Vic? Only cops drive anything so hideous!!!!
I have seen these cars up here and I am insistant that it is not just white reflective on a white car.... The 2 colours match almost 100%, and anyone in this business...
I bet whoever has the contract has matched a print on white reflective so close to the stock white used on the cars.... To do 3 or 4 vehicles for a customer, I don't think it is worth the effort
I used to think it was just white reflective on white paint, but lets face it...white reflective is referred to by many as silver so that is not it. I have seen the cars and know that there is no way just white on white...it actually matches the colour of the car somehow. I wonder if the cars...
I have a client asking for this effect. I have seen the police cars with this vinyl, but have no clue how it is done? They really are hard to see and somehow they match the paint....sort of like a ghost look
anyone know how this is done?
I could do this but unfortunately I do not have a full Flexi package as I use it for Print and print and cut...so I am stuck with photoprint. No welding tools... Signlab 8 should be able to handle this file but it comes in completely screwed up for whatever reason.
Thanks for the offer, but I have a designer who works out of here and I know he can fix it...I just can't understand how so many masks can be put in a file.
I have no idea...a file sent from a clients client. asking them such questions usually ends up with no answers and sometimes I think they think I have no idea what I am doing...which in many cases is true!!! :)
I am very confused about masking.
I have a file and generally most these days have a mask or 2.
With Flexi at least I can get the file open, (Signlab does not like it at all ) but on this particular one, I have unmasked it so far over 25 times.... I am not even sure if it is the same mask...
well it was working for 2 years until today.... system restore did nothing, so it was not an update issue.... How do I restore the network? I have no clue
