Freakin Illustrator has closed on me due to a lack in virtual memory. I have done some things I've found on the internet, but it still does it. WTF do I need to do to keep this from happening?

Is there a way in Flexi (or other programs) to load a font that was just installed without having to close the program and re-open? It can be a real pain sometimes.

So I am trying to have something contour cut in versa works, and the will not work. It seems like every fifth file is like this. I use the contour cut swatch in Illustrator and put a stroke around what I need like I always do but sometimes it does not come through in versa and it is driving...
