    that's awesome!
  2. corel x5 not showings file thumbnails

Here's how it works for me in x3 If you are in corel and go to open a cdr file, it shows a thumbnail for the file. If you are not in corel and go to the same file, it doesn't show a thumbnail I suppose because corel isn't being used. ....or maybe a file association problem?
  3. Just an idea of an approach would help...........................

GAC...put new screws back in for the last trailer, so I would put a few in my mouth and being wet, they just spun on top and didn't twist the vinyl. I also had my drill set to just snug them up, so it wasn't putting too much pressure on them anyway. With cut vinyl where it's just a few screws...
  4. Just an idea of an approach would help...........................

I would much rather take them out, than have to work around them all. Did a 14' box trailer not long ago that had rusty screws....told the customer if he would pay for the screws, I would put new ones back to keep rust from running down the decal. I try to push hard on the drill when removing...
  5. Snap trim how to?

I've used lusterboard a couple times in the past...and quit using it because of delamination. I run all around the edge with titebond wood glue to help seal it up, and then used 100% silicone in the cap to hold it on. Still had one come apart. I don't even offer it to customers anymore, and use...
  6. pinch roller sensor ?

Thanks Gino...I will put one on my shopping list
  7. pinch roller sensor ?

Had tried moving the pinch rollers a few times this morning, and it didn't help. Just tried moving them again, and shifting the media, and now it's working. Pretty sure it will need some attention soon....probably the cable?
  8. pinch roller sensor ?

My sp300v won't read the material width today. Did a search and found the cable may be at fault, or the material width sensor might be dirty. How do you get to this sensor to clean it? When I go into cleaning mode, the heads move over to the left cover, but the sensor isn't accessable. Thank you
  9. Color Problems

  14. 2 part business forms

Thanks Sean...I have been using a local print shop for these the last several years. They doubled the price last time, saying they are difficult to make. I'm finding a lot of companies that can print the forms, it's the spiral binding that they won't/can't seem to do. My customer has tried the...

I have a customer wanting some business forms. Here's the specs: 5.5 x 8 Two part carbonless ( white/yellow ) Red consecutive numbering Top spiral bound 40 pads of 100 sets Having a hard time finding someone who can do the spiral binding on these....most have glued binding. Anyone here make...
  16. Hp 5500ps

Also had a 5500 uvps....it was a workhorse. Tried a lot of vinyls before trying the 3m 8522 and 8519 laminate, and had prints last for several years. Left the lam about 1/4" over all around to seal the print down. Only used it on flat surfaces....never tried any curves or compound corners, so...
  17. Corel X6 .tif export bug

Here too....once in a while the file exports correctly.
  18. SP300 Cap height and wiper grinding

Don't think it has anything to do with this, but I ordered new wipers a few weeks ago, and saw a wiper scraper in the parts list, so I ordered one. Went to change it and the old scraper had a big chunk broken out of it, so it was good thing it got changed.
  19. Font with multiple strokes

In corel you could do a double contour and ungroup them. Turn the first one yellow and the back one white. Now duplicate the white one, turn it yellow and offset it to be the drop shadow. Use the blend tool, and blend the back yellow one into the white outline....adjust slider as needed.
  20. Cleaning Edge of Polymetal/Aluminum

To get smoother cuts, I've been cutting max-metal with a razor knife which cuts nice, but leaves a small raised lip on the edge. Cabbaged on to one of my wifes old wooden kitchen rollers. (the ones you roll out noodles with) Roll it down the edge and it does a nice job.
