  1. HP 360 de-lamination issues

Good point. We are using a Seal 54 base, no heat. Roughly 60% pressure. The quick response from 3M was "the ink is not cured, add 20 degrees of heat". Not sure how else to test the ink other than trying a smudge test and a good visual. The ink isn't oily, feels and looks dry. How else to...
  2. HP 360 de-lamination issues

Thanks John. Much appreciated. I will send you an email. Looking at our 3M IJ35 profile, we are running 10 pass, 235 for our drying, and normal OP levels. We are running Caldera V10, made our own profile. Our prints sure seem to be dry but I'm not an expert at this point. Still trying to...
  3. HP 360 de-lamination issues

Ok, so our last run of IJ35 doesn't look oily, sure seems dry. We are curing at 235', where is everyone else setting their cure temp?
  4. HP 360 de-lamination issues

I'm pretty sure they are cured. I haven't noticed an oily sheen but I will double check the next run. Thanks!
  5. HP 360 de-lamination issues

We can try this but i'm nervous about durability if we reduce the OP levels. We have great color so I didn't want to just arbitrarily reduce OP levels before researching the problem a little bit first. It's not like every print is failing but it's happened enough that I think there is a problem.
  6. HP 360 de-lamination issues

Thanks Dan. Hoping he can shed some light on the situation.
  7. For hp latex owners

Please see my thread from yesterday regarding de-lamination issues. Safe travels.
  8. HP 360 de-lamination issues

Thanks everyone. I will try to address some of the questions from above: - The latest wrap (Arlon 6000xrp) we let sit overnight before laminating. - Some of the 3M products were laminated same day, sometimes within an hour or two. - Usually the lam separates from the ink cleanly but sometimes...
  9. HP 360 de-lamination issues

We purchased 2 HP 360's at the end of last year. We have had a handful of de-lamination issues since we made the switch. In 12 years of running solvent printers, not once did we experience de-lamination. Now it has happened with 3M IJ180/8518, 3M IJ35/PS luster lam, and now Arlon 6000xrp/cast...
  10. Font ID Please

Could also be Century Gothic Itc.
  11. Banner Hemming

Your banners will look so much more professional if you sew them or weld them. We have sewn our banners with a Kansai double needle for 8 years and have had very good luck. We just bought a Miller Weldmaster, can't wait to finish banners even faster. We will still keep the sewing machine for...
  12. Bumper Sticker Vinyl Question

We like Arlon 4725. It prints very well and is thick enough to apply w/o a laminate. Also comes with the added benefit of air egress.
  13. Marquee sign

Details please? We may be able to help.
  14. Gerber vs MultiCam vs Colex

We have been running our Colex for almost 2 months now and I have absolutely no regrets about the purchase. The table is a workhorse, the support has been great, the software is super easy to use, and it's plenty fast. We had a big drag knife project last week - super detailed, was on the...
  15. Anyone having issues building G7 profiles with 9.2 using an i1pro2 with iO table?

Anyone having issues building G7 profiles with 9.2 using an i1pro2 with iO table? We recently purchased the G7 plug-in for Easy Media. We are achieving nice results (to the eye) but can't seem to get a "pass" when running the profile through the standards verifier. Just curious if we are the...
  16. How do I double strike on HP flatbed 700!

Not possible to do a double strike on the FB700. Photo max dpi is the closest option. Make sure you have your resolution set to 1200x600. If it's defaulting back to Indoor signage you have our dpi set at 600x600. You may also need to build a profile for max dpi at 1200x600 if you don't...
  17. What flatbed printer should we go for? UK

We are very happy with our HP FB700. Not screaming fast but far from slow. It's a great mid level production machine. Print quality is good.

    Welcome from Colorado!
  19. Caldera keeps crashing when using the nesting feature

Thanks. We did the latest update but we haven't tried reinstalling yet. Talked to Caldera last week and they didn't seem to have an explanation. Will try the reinstall, hopefully it isn't a hardware issue. Thanks.
  20. Caldera keeps crashing when using the nesting feature

We are using Caldera 9 to run our various printers. When "nesting" rather than composing several files, our Mac keeps crashing. Sometimes it will print 3-4' worth of material, then the printer(s) freeze and Caldera freezes. We can make a large composed document with no problem. It's just...
