  1. Trouble opening flexi files in flexi

We have one computer with Flexi Pro 10 and one with 8.6 design station, and we send files back and forth every day, only issue I've ever noticed is if using a font that's not in the other machine, then just export as EPS, you loose text editing ability but never had a problem opening the file.

Plot the image in black vinyl using a slight inline and reverse weed, apply the black to the acrylic. Cut the image without the inline and over lay the cutouts in the black, you will likely need to double layer the black to prevent the lights from showing thru at night, black is not really that...
  5. Does anyone here use Flexisign Pro? need 2 email original & have it sent back .jpg.

We open JPG and PDF in photoshop and save, then open the photoshop file in Flexi, that eliminates most problems.

About 10 years ago we had an inquire that required 10000 sq ft of printed vinyl in 4 weeks and we didn't own a printer. We got the order, bought and installed a 48" Mutoh printer which ran 30sq ft/hr and got out 10000 sq ft of vinyl in 3 weeks, in spite of no support from the local distributor...
  8. HP L26500 banding in black

We have an L25500 and had gone thru a lot of in with few head problems, but in the last 2 months we have had to change the cyan head 3 times, one was only in a week. Seems like there must be a bad batch of heads out there.
  9. Applying wall vinyl

Depending on what is ment by texture, if it just nominal texture from a paint roller, 6mil should not be a problem, but a course texture would be. Cut lettering or graphics can be a problem with transfer tape, use medium or lo tac tape. Test the paint with a scrap of vinyl, most any vinyl will...
  10. Wrapping a glass block wall

We prefer vertical seams with 1/2" overlap, recently did a wall 15ft high x 300ft long. With vertical seams, gravity works with you and alinement is easy with 2 people. Have done a few walls, 8ft high 30ft long, with vinyl provided by customer, that had a horizontal a seam and no over lap. The...

Our machine is 2 years old and we carry a service contract on it, but the SM Kit 3 is not covered by the contract. I still had HP install. I was out of the shop when it was installed, but I believe it took 3 hrs or so to install.
  15. Help contour cut and gatorfoam

I missed the part that you had a lot of detail, I'd use clear transfer tape. Side comment, routed gator will have a lot of loose particals and static this time of year, blow it off with compressed air and wipe with moist paper towel.
  16. Help contour cut and gatorfoam

We just do a rough cut by hand, you aline the graphic to the gator by feel, then just a knife around the perimeter of the gator.
  17. Installing Printed Wall Graphic On Existing Vinyl Wallcovering

I would go with WalTex. The adhesive on removable vinyl is designed to stay on the vinyl, when applied to a vinyl surface, especially after a few months, some of the adhesive may well attach to the vinyl wall covering.
