  3. Latex Printer Question

The cost to print is a loaded question without an easy answer. Material cost can very from $0.20/sq ft to more than $2.00/sq ft, we are paying $118/HP cart. for ink, but have seen it close to $150 / cart. If you print a 42" wide graphic on 54" wide material, you have 14" of scrap that should be...
  4. Cutting Mat Recommendations? ...Xtreme?

We have a 5'x16' table and originally had 2 5'x8', after a while we replace one and half of the second from heavy use and got a 5x12. I get the Xtream from Harbor Sales, their prices are usually better then Fellers. The Xtream is the only way to go.

  12. Isa or sgia

If you're in the market NOW for new equipment go to ISA, if not and you're busy now, go to SGIA. They are both outstanding shows and better than small regional show.
  13. What is the best all-around removable vinyl for walls, windows, counter tops, etc…?

It was introduced at the SGIA show in Oct. , I picked up a sample, it's a thick mat'l with a textured surface, the literature indicates the adhesive is removable but it feels rather aggressive. Have not tried any, little pricy, but would be close to laminated floor print with no need to...
  14. What is the best all-around removable vinyl for walls, windows, counter tops, etc…?

We've not had a problem on glass, not good on anything vinyl such as changeable dates on banners. From what I'm told the removable adhesives have an infinity for vinyl, that why they come off clean, but if applied to a vinyl substrate a lot of the adhesive will stay on the substrate.
  15. What is the best all-around removable vinyl for walls, windows, counter tops, etc…?

The few painted walls we have had problems with were also a problem with hi performance permanent adhesive. But you might use your half roll for window graphics in place of static cling.
  16. What is the best all-around removable vinyl for walls, windows, counter tops, etc…?

We have been using Avery 2611 for 2+ years in a Mutoh Ecosol and HP Latex. It has worked very well for us, there have been few problems not sticking to some paint, but those paints would be a problem with any adhesive, usually glossy paint that have silicone for dirt resistance. We have been...
