Did anyone use the Triangle MSS inks in your JV33? How did they hold up? Where did you buy them? How well does it hold up to scratches? I am using Triangle True Solvent inks and they work very well but the fumes are horrible even with venting.

Definitely try the 90 minute head soak like sightline said. I bought a jv 33 that was sitting for a month without cleaner or cartridges. Sightline suggested I do a few 90 minute soaks and it cleared it right up. Actually I do a head soak about once a week and it has been working great!

I don't think you will have any problems if it is turned on and is set up for self cleaning. I just bought a JV33 that was sitting for over a month with the cartridges out and it cleared up after 4- 90 minute head soaks. Test print is perfect!!!

I have a mimaki jv33 that has been sitting with the cartridges out for about a month - no it did not have the lines flushed. Whats the worst case senario? I figured pump the lines with cleaner, replace the cap and dampers and may printhead. Any suggestions?
