Where are signasoures rex and tiki? Fred is missed. There used to be members around here who could desipher any font cuz it's old school typeset. My advice is to take that direction... Look at OG typefaces used for stamping.

Well I tried. If was my client, I'd convince them that recreating the tag with a font legitimately recognized as a font used for vin numbers that's as close as we're going to get on this part of the restoration. Are you doing other aspects, or just this one little part?

This is similar what we use, it works great on ACM. Ours is a little more industrial looking, but it's basically the same
