I thought Mimaki did this for free cause they have to insure it was installed properly for the warranty to start.
Set it up yourself. If your going to put out $600 put it down towards profiling equipment like xrite and training in person.
Mimaki does make a 24in print/cut machine called a cjv30-60. dual cmyk, cmyklclm+white and now metallic ink options also retails for about $12k. Im not sure what head or heads the new roland will have in it but if it still uses the dx4 one head per color I would not buy it at all. The mimaki...
There is one on ebay at no reserve right now.

Its hit or miss over there, deals are to be had but prepare for a lot of trial and error. If you were running a few soljets with the DX4's I would consider investigating and testing if the savings were going to be great. The good thing about the CJ500 is if you get a bad set of ink it does not...
What kind is it? a zund? just have it taken apart and then re-assembled on site. If you keep the legs on them the crate can have a tendency to tweak the bed and everything else attached to it when a $10hr fork lift driver moves it from one truck to another.
We have a good zund service tech...
Wow typical "newbie to the sign industry" post on signs101.com. He gets flamed, everyone feels better, 3 people throw up the popcorn emoticon in between to up their post count and feel better in some strange increase your post count way.... and this website looks less appealing one post at a...
no just make an adaptor for the douche tip to be fitted to a water hose. The negativity here keeps my post to a minimum.
Hope everyone has a great day!:thumb:
just cause its in its own room with no carpet does not mean there is not static taking place when the media gets unrolled. Take some christmas tree garlin or however you say it or take several dryer sheets and tape it to the back of the printer and let it lightly touch the media right before it...
Was just wondering if the Roland machines in the UK and Australia require different ink cart chips than the USA roland machines? The USA roland machines we can just pop in $10 bulk cartridges and print forever....but I have seen permanent chips for roland machines for sale in the UK and AU for...
Be careful with that FJ740 last I checked half the print heads were not printing properly. If your looking at the one Vinny has had up for sale for months.
