on my cg120 you must move the unused roller all the way to the left on the machine ....and there is white areas marked you must keep the other rollers in can't just put them anywhere you'll get an error ....the far right one will slide enough that any size material will work in them

i thought about this a bit and im going to chime i and say the internal wiping setting is wrong ..youll have to access this though the on the printer panel screen..go to functions>maintanance scroll thru there see if there is internal wiping now im sure there is a read about it in your manual

i just help my friend across town replace one on jv3 spII if it is anythig like that it is exactly 2 philips screws and a few plastic hoses .it took all of 15 minutes to swap out .honest ...do a "fill ink" we all looked at each other and said gawd we were gonna call a tech man in for that?

unscrew a chip [one phillips screw] off a known good cart ...see if it works ..only thing that will be wrong on the screen is the amount left in cart ..it will read what was on other cart.....this will least tel you if "chip" is bad...and you can move on hope this helps sir
