I use the window perf with optically clear lam and then use a half inch strip of the same lam to edge seal it. Works great! And the sqeegee strokes always work themselves out after it's been left to set. It's the adhesive that needs time to cure. :)
LOL...I was there with my hubby & production helper. lol ...that's too funny! The 3M crew is awesome. Such a great company and great people. We were very impressed with their attention to details and support for their products. I'm proud to say that we are just about 100% 3M only. There's just...
hey Jon...ok...now I get the association . lol Sorry...thought you were actually at the seminar I attended last week. lol We made out well...didn't get to visit a shop though. :( I'm hoping to head back that way in June or July though. I'll keep in touch...so tell me more about your biz...
shoot...that sucks...it's kinda funny...LED is taking over and these little "ugly betty's" are being outlawed??? lol
Sam's ?? Not as far as I know. But ...it sounds to me like I'll just pass on the job. Sounds like a time waster to make it and a...non money maker to me.
Oh well...ya can't...
I think yours has a much more attractive colouring. And I 100% agree that it looks like aliens are coming out of a spacecraft in his original. The hands need to be there, the globe doesn't and again...your colouring is better. :) And rebranding at a time when you are buying all new marketing...
heading down on May 9th (Sunday), doing some training at ND. We're heading back North on Wed or Thurs. I'd like to see a few places just to get some ideas. And places that are similar in size and equipment as I.
Yes all of the signs on this site are suitable. But...I need a Canadian dealer. I do not want to become a distributor as I am not in a very central region of my country. :)
I hope someone will be able to help me find a Canadian company. :)
thanks very much for you help
I'm not even sure if that's what it's called...but where the heck can I find a supplier for one of these? I have a few requests for these darn things right now and haven't been able to find a supplier in Canada. I'm going to Toronto in a few weeks and could pick one up while there...but need to...
I'm acutally going down to go to ND Graphics...and my last point of attack here to arrange this was to call my sales rep and see if he could get me into a couple shops that run similar equipment I run so that I can get some ideas on how to move things around to better suit our growing production...
So...do you trim the prints before or after the lam?? I'll be laming tomorrow and would want to let them sit for the remainder of the day and night on a table flat ...but as this is my first pop up I'm interested in some tips & tricks! :) thx
:thumb:
I've been super lucky and all I run are like 6 different profiles. I always use CMYK when exporting the artwork and do a small test run on the same material. I've printed all kinds of colours so far with little to no issues. :) I'm a happy printer! No fancy smancy software needed so far. I'd...
Trial and error or fork out the dough for software??...in the long run it comes down to whatever you can swing in the moment. Not every shop has the income to justify spending big money on profiling software.
I was advised that the purpose of the lam is both to increase the regidity and prevent possible surface damage when the customer is handling the panels. I'm printing my first pop up graphics now. :) so far soooooo good. I'll be working 24 hrs a day to get this job out the door. The trade show is...
