  1. "Billboard" on a bike

Eh... we've buillt as large as a 3x6 double sided sign on a lightweight trailer which includes a bicycle "hitch" that attaches to the rear wheel axle. Very cool actually

  4. WrapCut for the win once again

Did some matte black graphics on a yellow 2010 Camaro this morning. WrapCut made it easier and a more professional finish. Not the best... but some pictures below.
  5. Website Effectiveness

We get quite a bit of business from our site.... even though many might see our vehicles, or customer referrals: most all of them hit our website to "check us out" before they actually call us. I get comments all the time in this regard. And honestly, our site is lacking IMO... but since I do...
  6. Win a FlexiSign Designer from SAI

    I already like it

  10. Accepting Credit Cards

Oh... FYI: Intuit's GoPayment is a very similar service and claims to be fully PCI compliant: http://gopayment.com/ I haven't tried it myself, so take it for what it's worth.
  11. Accepting Credit Cards

Whilie I agree that Square is a cool service and great for someone that doesn't do tons of transactions, keep a few things in mind: - Rates are more then a regular processing account (duh) - If you take a lot of debit cards, rates are MUCH higher then a regular processing account - Pretty poor...
  12. 1080 or 975

We use 970RA for colors, and 1080 for the specialty stuff (carbon, brushed, etc)

Use knifeless tape to layout your stripes.... cover in vinyl, "cut" out the stripes :)
  14. thunderbird

Exactly the same for me... used Pegasus since the early 90's, then moved to Thunderbird maybe 5 years ago or so. It's not perfect, but it's the best I've found.
  15. Neschen Calypso Breeze alternative?

Figured... thanks. Now the other problem with that material is that it's 56" and not 48" or 54". So won't work in my 54" printer
  16. Neschen Calypso Breeze alternative?

Yes, thanks... I did look at that material as well. Seems pretty inexpensive. How would something like that hold up as a banner in a workshop or garage?
  17. Neschen Calypso Breeze alternative?

I sent PM but haven't heard anything back. Anyone else have recommendations?
  18. Cost effective method to print 500 posters

Seems like you'd have to do a ton more then just 500 posters a month to justify a machine that could do that much cheaper. We get 27"x39" 100lb gloss posters, 500 for ~$1.75/ea
  19. Substrate cart

Here is one of the Uline carts... you could build something very similar out of wood.
  20. Help with a wrap...

I have used 3951RA for most of our wraps... I'm used to it. As for your problem... yes, I'm sure you are stretching the material. Start in the center and work out from there, and keep an eye on where you are so you don't have the same problems you are having now. Also, if you want something a...
