  2. printing grey and getting red/blue/green undertones

I'd avoid the older Kodak colour gray scales - they were for luminance values, and had a decided green cyan bias. try https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/465703-REG/DSC_Labs_FBC_FrontBox_College.html?sts=pi Key words being "featuring a spectrophotometrically neutral"

I meant flip, god damn it (as in the eagle, or corvids or herons...) Most of our complex hieroglypical signs need at least two sets of two posts 12" box tube 1" section, welded on the new moon facing east with lots of people dressed in robes (no hats) and some (engineer apporved ivy, set in...

  6. How to talk to unhappy employee’s.

Olfa 30degrees almost live in my back pocket. Then they migrate to the door pocket of the car on the way home. Every blue moon, they mass migrate back home to the work space. More than once they've presented themselves at the bar when pulling out my wallet. To be fair they're often accompanied...

Being motorised, that'll give you both hands to control the work going through, and allows for lamination and bulk prep of substrates. Down side is it is limited to a fraction over 1/4" substrate, should you ever need thicker.

  18. 1641 Page Feed Issue

I've seen no drop in image quality (and really picky clients) by setting up the media correction in Fiery. We run a whole bunch of papers from matt bond 80gsm to 340gsm thick art papers. You already have all the data you need to make the correction (input size 120", output size 119 5/64th")...
  19. Getting a better quality image from a low quality image

I think it's not too different to the auto tracing in Illustrator - get the settings right, and you can get a good output from a web grab logotype. Just that GP can be very slow, and I've not yet found the fine manual to read.
  20. Need Help Cutting DiBond after flatbed printing

We print aqueous (Canon 8400) and mount onto DiBond. Mostly, work flow is cut DiBond 2-3mm smaller than the print, then mount on laminator and trim down. Many of the (art) papers are very fragile, and it is the sharp scalpel cut from the back, on a cutting mat. On occasions, we've had to trim...
