Sounds like the person selling the printer isn't really sure what they have. My reaction to that is to tell you to run, run away. You do not need the printer and having all the extra stuff that comes with the printer just brings along more things that can go wrong with it. Do some more research...

The real question is... does Flexi Starter have those features? You may be wanting your program to do something it can't do. If that is the case, you'll need a program such as Coreldraw, Illustrator or Inkscape (which is free) to build your layout, then import to Flexi and cut.
