There is plenty of hard drive space yet. I think that there is about 90 gigs left on a 180 gig drive (if I remember right).

We just bought this a year ago, and although it isn't the most powerful thing on the market now or then, it should have adequate power for some of the things that I am trying to do. Is there a few settings or modifications that I could possibly make the may help?

Freakin Illustrator has closed on me due to a lack in virtual memory. I have done some things I've found on the internet, but it still does it. WTF do I need to do to keep this from happening?

Ahh, I think that I have always tried it with the document open! Never thought of that.

Is there a way in Flexi (or other programs) to load a font that was just installed without having to close the program and re-open? It can be a real pain sometimes.

If your vinyl hops off of the media feed sensor for a flash it will think that the media is running out. Happens to me sometimes. Just make sure there is enough to finish the job and hit continue.

Clean first for sure.

Once you start paying for custom created fonts made by font artists, most of these freebies reveal how ugly they are. Yes, $20-$50+ may seem like an extravagant amount to spend on a set of letters, but when you realize that it has not been beat to death, flows well, and kerns nice you realize...

Don't think I have that particular set of dingle berries.

Hate to say it, but shovel is incorrect on the font on this one, similar, but some of the characters do not match.

Maybe I will just replace the other one. They are right next to each other and I am just about anal to the point of obsessive compulsive when additions don't match perfect.

Although I could see myself overlooking that, the asterisk is not the same. The reason why I thought it was a symbol of some sort it because I could swear I see it on 70's era designs. I thought it may just be a dingbat or something. I will continue to search!

Looks like something from a dingbat collection or something. Before I get the 'Create it in five minutes response,' I'm pretty anal and want them to match perfect.

By far some of my favorite fonts/collections.

I have managed to do a 20' banner with only being about .25" off at the end, but yes, it is risky. If possible, I would just use larger media and price the waste into the job.

I just make sure to have my outermost rollers not on the media, have the inner ones actually holding the media, and then find out the offset from the right most roller (if facing the front of the printer). So on my machine if my rightmost roller is 1.5" from the edge of the media, then I...

I routinely print straight to the edge of my material (38" wide on 38" material), but I have a 54" Printer. Is it just your material that is 30", or is your printer a 30" model? If your printer is a 30" printer than you are only going to be able to print about 95-98% of that width.
