We usually know what to charge. We just for some reason mishandle money I think. I don't see anyone job costing. Maybe there is other ways to job cost but I don't see employee X keeping track of time.
In a small sign shop is 50% enough for materials to start working on a job? or is labor a added invisible cost? Overhead not figured correctly? I often see money being grabbed from another job to finish another job and that worries me. If it's not enough money what can be done? If it is enough...
We have an Accubend machine. Which is now obsolete.
Was wondering if any of you knew how to fix the hydraulics
on it? It doesn't leak but It doesn't seem to release the
pressure. Not sure where its hanging up at. If you have
experience with this machine or a better solution I'd like
to hear...
Yeah let China mass produce with slave labor and no human rights. I'm sure those workers care about quality and craftsmanship. It's a race to the bottom. We'll stay at the bottom and just trade dollar for dollar.
The negative pressure has been resolved. CET came out and did a wonderful job and fixed a lot of issues. But they couldn't fix the rotated image issue. You can rotate an image anyway you want in onyx and it will look the same on the preview at the CET monitor. But what prints out is 180°...
Thanks Dave will do. Also do any of you know why the printer prints everything in 180°? My preview shows the art in the correction position.
but when I print it out its rotated 180°. Is it just my printer or is that a know issue?
Thanks Art! I'll check it out. last two days its been doing better and yes it's left on overnight. The model is the xpress 500. Dosn't appear to have any leaks in the lines. But for some reason its doing better as of lately.
THanks but I don't think that will help me as when I come into the shop first thing in the morning is when I see the pressure all over the place and ink leaked out in the waste tray. Any ideas what is causing it to be unstable while not running?
Don't know if anyone has posted this problem but I have a problem with negative pressure fluctuating too high and low. Sometimes while the printing is going it will drop to 2.8 and drop ink on material. So I'm wondering if there is a fix for this?
and on another note
This is the most manual...
I ran the Manual Jet Pattern turned off all the jets that were not firing. Since the Auto Jet Map wouldn't read anything. Said 52 jets Disqualified by printer. I also ran the Recover Jet pattern followed by the Check Health Pattern (which I call a Jet Out.) twice. Nothing changed or improved...
Does anyone know other ways to clear up jets on the Fb700? The only
options i have are Air purge Standard or Performance. I've ran this
till i'm blue in the face and no progress. I've manually compensated for the
bad jets for now. but since there are 52 jets out thats too many to try to...
Using the HP/FB 700 print to .125 PETG.
Then laminating a chrome foil on top of the printed ink. Using a thermal laminator at about 200 degrees. Looks really nice but we notice every where it was digitally printed it was easy to pull off everywhere it was screen printed white didn't pull off. So...
Turns out it was a clogged ink filter. For some reason HP didn't make replacing ink filters as part of the maintenance for the printer. Really dumb. Also the filters are hidden inside the cover.
That's what in doing. First attempt stopped at 33%. Now all heads have an error. It's emptying right now I will try to refill again when it's complete.
I have a question. What would cause an error like On-Head ink rreservoir not refilling? I recently changed out an ink box and soon after it would not fill up said it was out of ink. But the ink level shows full and the ink chip in the back is correct. I have no way to tell if its clogged I don't...
Can anyone tell me how to do a Saber Calibration and a Y Calibration on a printhead for the HP/FB700? Manual says only a technician can
do the Saber calibration and I can't find the Y calibration anywhere. Found a H2H but that was it. What I did was replace a head. Did
everything I could find on...
