T6500 isn't for use with solvent printers, it's designed to be screen printed.

The only printers that have any issues like that are UV printers because the curing lamps can reflect back onto the print head and cure the ink on the head. Even with those it's more an issue with highly reflective materials like printing on mirrors and chrome surfaces, not reflective vinyls...

These are entry level, very basic. If you look at the specs, they don't even have the sensors to read registration marks for print/ cut.

Solvent is the way to go in my opinion, waiting for it to outgas is just something you calculate into your workflow. I agree with what White Haus said, the extra colors aren't always wort the sacrifice, while it'll give you a wider gamut, some fade extremely quick out in the sun. I ran Rolands...

Don't know your situation, or the skill level of what you already have working for you, but why not put one of the two you have now in charge? That way you just have to negotiate a raise to go with the added responsibility, you can title it however you (or they) want, manager, foreman...

Like desktop all-in-one printers, some you can't even scan documents to your computer without ink. They all find a way to get into your wallet :rolleyes:

Sounds like you found the cure. Too much heat can cause the adhesive to release from the laminate, they all have a temperature sweet spot, just like pressure, tensions, how you feed. Lots of variables that can cause problems with laminating, and every one is kind of unique. Glad to hear you...
