Can anyone recommend a source for crack back labels from a wholesale source with reasonably good color matching capabilities?
I need 500 oval labels, 6" x 4" for a customer we do a lot of work for, so we need the PMS colors to match the previous work we've done.
Photos are a dead ringer for a system called Alumigraph. The company is AG Systems at 610 363-8150.
It takes a lot of patience to buy from them however.
Limited sizes and colors, but should be easy to match the size and color you already have.
You need to laminate if the prints are going outside because otherwise the colors will fade much sooner than you or the customer expect. We've had an Edge since 1996. We did mostly interior work until 2002 then switched to exterior.
We fell for the old "you don't need to laminate thermal...
Marlene,
I buy that under the brand name Alumalite. It comes in 6 mm and 10 mm, white and colors and a low end white with bare aluminum back. I'm not sure from your photo what is different about the one you received or what you were expecting. Maybe an aluminum composite panel (diBond...
Looking at the LaserBits site you provided the link to makes it very likely a laser cut product. It is not one of their films however. They offer a polished gold (too shiny) and a brushed gold (with brushed marks). This is neither. It is almost a dead match to Sign Gold Satin Surface film...
I have a customer requesting a quantity of 600 pieces of gold (colored?) lettering applied to blocks of walnut.
The sample looks identical to Sign Gold Satin film, but thicker. The client says they are very thin aluminum painted with 23k gold paint. If so, they are incredibly thin. The "Since...
What vinyl would you use to adhere to the textured wall shown in the photo attached?
I have to print two spot colors and would ideally do so using my Gerber Edge, so 15" vinyl would be preferred.
I outsource all my inkjet and flatbed printing and don't expect my printers to stock such a...
I always buy polycarbonate cut to size, but a new supplier cut everything oversize by 1/8" to 3/8" inch in each direction. I'm concerned they won't fit in the light cabinets without being trimmed.
Can polycarbonate be trimmed on a panel saw or are special blades or tools required? I know...
Does anyone have or know where to find the document "Packing and Unpacking to Prevent Damage" so I can ship a Gerber Edge LE properly?
Every document on Gerber's website refers to this document, which for the life of me I can't find. Couldn't they just have added a page to the owner's manual...
To stay on topic and answer your question, we use Basecamp. It's not really a project manager (as they would tell you) but it's a great communication program. We start a project with a template that lists all the to do's necessary to do the job, and then assign the items to the appropriate...
Does anyone know a source for buying a sandblast mask cut from our graphic file?
I used to do them here but haven't done one in years. I'm not sure my Roland CJ 540 can cut a material so thick and I hate to buy a roll of material to find out. Even if it could, buying a roll of material to cut...
It may be that the customer just wants a 2" stripe running the length of the awning. Can anyone recommend a good paper masking tape that would hold up?
We cut paint masks for a local awning company that has a project coming up using Nazdar solvent based screen inks on a brand of polyester fabric called Serge Ferrari Precontraint.
We normally cut masks out of 3M 7125 or FDC Intermediate vinyl, but neither of these products work on this...
