    Just thought of one other thing. The glue on the thermistors has been known to drop down and give a false reading. It is possible that the thermistor itself needs to be cleaned of debris and/or dried ink.

    We have seen the same issue with ours. I was informed that by placing some pressure on the bag inside the new box while trying to fill, all goes well. Also, check the inline filters above the printheads. Filters should be clear, not discoloured.

    I guess an explanation is in order for the reason for asking for a matte surface print film. The depth of colour is better, the film should be more consistent and I should be able to print faster.

    Keeps the cost to the customer low. Why do the extra step for a temporary graphic. If they clean the windows regularly, then I would go with laminate.

    I used some 3M 8522 end pieces through my Epson Artisan. Seemed to work really well. I would think that if you purchased a vinyl for an aqueous based printer, you should be fine.

    Thanks for the insight. We have tried some fills only to have an unsatisfied customer. Even created some. The customer likes the depth of the printed engine turn.

    Looking for a 48" x 150' roll of printable Large Engine Turn Silver. Rtape & FDC have been pushing the due date back since December.:banghead: I've been informed that Coburn has 24" not 48".
  20. What printer do I need?

    I called Marabu ClearShield. They were very helpful. They have different coatings depending on what you are printing on. I purchases some samples. I hope to try them when we slow down a little.
