We have found that 3M IJ36 works good. Changeable adhesive lifts off with little to no residue.

We are running SAV @ 257 sft hour. Banner and other medias @ 356 sft hour. Only had the machine a little over a year. Still tweaking profiles and settings. We ran a sellable banner the other day at 715 sft hour. Everything depends on customer expectations.

Check with your representative. They were in short supply down here for awhile. I gave them an idea of what we were using a month and they kept inventory in stock and current.

I have had issues if I clean it more than twice. I use denatured alcohol myself.

We have the M64 and wouldn't trade it for anything.

Have you attempted an actual print? The units we had would leave an IQ print similar to what you have shown, but print very well on actual jobs.

We just retired our 9000s. They were running with Onyx 10.2 and Windows XP. I had been informed that the units would work with Windows 7 and a different Onyx driver. I was also informed by Onyx that the 9000 wouldn't work with the latest version of Windows or Onyx.

Only if you drink the Koolaide. We have run ours really hard until about the last year. Our M64 prints better and faster than anything we have in the shop and takes most of the print load at the moment. I guess our LX800 might be jealous. It still runs banner and fabric good.

We have an LX800 that will do that periodically. Usually when it doesn't print enough. I try to print something every couple of days if it hasn't been printing regularly.

I usually see that about the last 200" of laminate. What I am told is that it is roll impressions, usually left by the tube or the tightening of the laminate on the roll. If it isn't too bad, heat will take out the haziness.

My experience has been that the plasticizers give up and don't allow good prints. I have printed on product as old as 5 years, then again some don't last 6 months.

Thanks for the feedback so far. I didn't know about the Epson machine. Will look into that. We have informed our customer the he would need to keep the machine running and the jobs we have previously ran for him would slow down from 2-3 hours to 12-13 hours. He is wanting something I can't...

We have had the best results printing with our solvent/eco-solvent machines on the metallic. Our L26500 wasn't able to give us the look we were going for.

Need some serious advice. Roland and Mimaki both offer ink sets with metallic ink. What are the positive and negatives of the metallic? I'm sure speed will be greatly reduced, cleanings more frequent and extra ink usage, for circulation and resisting clogged nozzles, are just a few items...

We have found that denatured alcohol and a plastic razor blade works good.

Has this issue been resolved? I have an issue with 12 where "the apply the setting from the most recently submitted job to the new job", isn't applying the settings.
