We are still liking our M64. Have replaced a couple front pumps, but were covered under warranty. Minor issues other than that. We hope to be adding another one soon.
Glad the software was the ticket. On the 9000 we had, I would order some cap cleaning fluid and to flush the lines, pumps and heads. There was a cartridge kit available for that purpose, but I can't find the # for it at this time. I have made one to flush the lines and pumps with a syringe...
changing passes, vacuum and tensions affect ours. When our heaters were of the verge of not working, they couldn't get warm enough to cure/dry the ink. When we replaced the elements, all was good.
We print magnet on our L26500. We are currently running in a 10 pass mode with 130°/230° F. We have had some issues with warpage/headstrikes on .020" magnet. We have found that .015" magnet works better for us. Also, we have to use a weaker non vehicle type of magnet to avoid stepping issues.
